Mov'n North

Well, I think we've finally done it - the contingencies have been lifted off of our house and the "new" Fairchild house. I think we have a new house for our little family in Mounds View (see link below).

We have been very lucky to find a buyer for our house in this market. I know it is tight. I really think the Fairchild house will be perfect for us. Four bedrooms (two up/two down), three baths (no jaccuzzi tub), a two-season porch off the kitchen and a nice, fenced yard with birch and pine trees, an attached two-car garage with some space next to it for the boats. The landscaping is weedy to say the least and it will be fun to poke around and add things back there. Maybe a small tree or bush for each of the kids?

There is much updating to do in the house from the fixtures and paint down to the plastic wainscoating on the walls...yes, you read that right - plastic wainscoating! But, it will enable us to make the house our own. It does allow for a piano, which I have been dreaming about having since I moved to St. Cloud for college.

Anyway, that is the big news on our end. We'll be hitting some of you up for moving help toward the end of June, but we haven't quite gotten that far yet in our planning. I thought at least we could give you a snapshot of the new Culhane household!

Over Memorial weekend, we went to Iron River, WI with Grammie Savage and Uncle Bill. We had a great time with good food, a "movie theatre", fishing, and many other adventures...did you know Sam could swim? Apparently that is what he thought too as he "jumped" off the dock into the water. I knew Grammie wasn't going for a leisurely swim herself when I saw her jump into the water after him. It was all very exciting. I'll attach some pix here for your enjoyment! ; )
