Yep, I figure I'll post the hair pix for the record. Why not? The first one is at about six weeks after my last chemo (Sept 10 to be exact). The second one is about six weeks after that. I actually have enough now that I have seen other women with short hair like mine! So, I'm wearing dangly earings and trying desparately to spike it up with gel or something. I'm thinking a red, green color might be fun.
How do you write about yourself? I think it's hard. I think first and formost I'm a mother of two beautiful children: Katelyn and Samuel - now four and two. I have a handsome and smart husband Dan, a dog named Abbey and a cat named Dipper.
I am also a breast cancer survivor. This is a new part of my life, and one I continue to learn about and incorporate into my life. I mostly credit my survival and continued courage to God's love and support. There is a lot to say and think about breast cancer. I am always open to a conversation about it. Anytime.
Otherwise, I've been working in communications for over 10 years now. Mostly in marketing and career development. I hope to someday work part-time doing consulting work and spend the rest of my time focusing on my family. I know it will happen for me - with a little bit of faith!
