Girl's Night IN

Well, the pictures I tried to take on Halloween did not turn out. There was way too much going on with trick'o treaters at the door, costumes, getting out the door before it got too cold, dogs barking, etc. Trying to get a good photo of the kids in their costumes was a hopeless effort. Maybe next year. Here is a good example of my try. Actually, you have to love this shot!

The weekend after Halloween is hunting opener...so, with Chuck and Jeff gone, Lisa, Denise, and I got the kids together and had a girl's night IN! We had a great time. Lisa provided "make your own pizzas" for the kids and appetizers/vino for the Moms. The kids had fun with the pizzas and sang their hearts out: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and ABCs were the two favorites.

Here are a few pix from the evening. Lisa's two kiddos are in the pink and red at the table: Sydney (4) and Cole (3). Logan, Denise's four year old, is next to Cole and Katelyn (3) is next to Logan. (Sam stayed home with Daddy, but next year he can definitely come along). I had to include one of Katey relaxing on Lisa's couch with her train.

This is definitely a tradition to be carried on.
